edition of the Theoretical-Practical School on Fluorescence and Laser Flash Photolysis Techniques is back, organized by the Permanent Training Center of the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia (UPV) and promoted by the Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ), a joint research center of the UPV and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). This fifth edition will be held from February 3 to 7, 2025 in person at the ITQ facilities (UPV-CSIC). In addition, the registration period is now open until the 24 places offered are filled.<\/p>\n<p>The V Theoretical-Practical School on Fluorescence and Laser Flash Photolysis Techniques is aimed at doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers who want to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in a technique with great potential for elucidating reaction mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of this school is to show the potential of fluorescence and laser flash photolysis techniques to investigate different reaction mechanisms, both photophysical and photochemical.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Luisa Mar\u00edn, researcher at ITQ (UPV-CSIC), professor at UPV and main organizer of this school highlights that this initiative \u2013 which began in 2019 and has been held with great success in four years \u2013 has established itself as the national reference school in this type of techniques. Due to the success of previous editions, the V Theoretical-Practical School on Fluorescence and Laser Flash Photolysis Techniques is offered in English, with the aim of reaching students from different countries.<\/p>\n<p>The V Theoretical-Practical School on Fluorescence and Laser Flash Photolysis Techniques has a faculty of excellent scientific quality such as Dr. Francisco Bosc\u00e1 Mayans, Scientific Researcher at the ITQ (UPV-CSIC), Dr. Virginie Lhiaubet, Senior Scientist at the (ITQ UPV-CSIC), Dr. Pedro E. Atienzar, Senior Scientist at the ITQ (UPV-CSIC) and Dr. M.
