Our PhD student Ander Diego-Lopez recently participated in the XXXIX Biennial of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry, held from 25-29 June in Zaragoza, Spain. There, he had the opportunity to make a contribution by presenting a poster titled: “SiO2@TiO2@Fe3O4 as a novel supported and magnetic photocatalyst for efficient water decontamination”. The poster showed the synthesis, characterization, photocatalytic activity tests and proposed mechanism of a novel SiO2-supported photocatalytic material based on the junction between TiO2 and Fe3O4.
