The PAMA team participates in the EAAOP-7 conference in Italy with research on decontamination and environmental sustainability

From June 10th to 13th, 2025, the PAMA team attended the 7th International Conference on Environmental Applications of Advanced Oxidation Processes (EAAOP-7), held in Paestum, Italy. This conference, renowned for showcasing the latest scientific and technological advancements in advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), brought together researchers from around the world in a context of growing regulatory and environmental urgency.

During the event, members of the group had the opportunity to present several communications focused on the development of new materials for environmental decontamination. Topics included the removal of microplastics and pharmaceuticals, the importance of designing efficient heterogeneous photocatalytic materials, the treatment and reuse of water in agricultural systems, and new strategies for sustainable hydrogen production.

In addition to sharing high-impact results, the conference served as an excellent platform for exchanging ideas and building synergies with other international groups working on AOPs to address current environmental challenges.
