Disseminating science in November 2025
The days 13–14 November 2025, we had the opportunity to participate, as part of the Instituto de Tecnología Química (UPV-CSIC) team, in 100xCiencia.9, the annual event organized by the SOMMa Alliance at CaixaForum Valencia under the theme “Science for Society: Reaching Minds.”
This edition was hosted by five centres of excellence from the Valencian Community, highlighting the social value of research.
As part of the program, our group contributed with a science outreach activity on photochemistry, engaging participants through hands-on demonstrations and accessible explanations to bring this field closer to society.
A special thank you to everyone who stopped by our activity and to the organizing team for making this event possible.
Mª Luisa Marín, as part of the PAMA team, took part in a round table during the Jornada Técnica “Hospitales Verdes”, held on 26 November 2025 at the Hospital Universitario Francesc de Borja (Gandia) and organized by Fundació Fisabio.
The session opened a space for dialogue between healthcare professionals and UPV researchers, addressing current needs and exploring opportunities to advance towards more sustainable hospital environments. A meaningful exchange that strengthens the connection between science, sustainability and healthcare.
